Finally our utilities were marked and Eric, the septic pro arrived to repair our leach line.
Our yard was dug up...the leach line was completely busted by the thick heavy roots of the Oleanders. Eric had to chop through those suckers. Root killer was spread down around it and a new pipe put in. This little venture cost $600, ouch!

The kicker....after all this work, our drain in our kitchen was still not draining correctly. I was playing catch up with dishes in the kitchen that night and...whoosh... a stream of water flowed into the garage from the washer when I used the garbage disposal. So there is a plug somewhere else within our walls most likely. Shane tried snaking it with a 50 ft auger last night, but still nothing. Hoping we don't have to call a plumber, but Shane is positive he can fix it. Fingers crossed!
