One Photo...

I have major photo catch up to do but here is one...

My Mom left yesterday after a two week visit.  Her friend was making a trip to Newport Beach and asked Mom if she would like to come along since it's close to us.  Mom checked with us first and it was all a go...so we picked her up in Newport Beach. It was so nice to have her here.  Mom last saw Kade when he was first born in December when she also stayed for two weeks.  It's hard to be so far away from both our families and love it when Kade gets to spend some time with them.  Hopefully one day soon we can go there.

Mom really wants Kade to know his Grandma, so she calls him on Skype every Sunday.  The reasoning is that he will come to know her voice and maybe her face too, although Skype doesn't offer high quality picture, but it works.  He chats in his own way to Grandma through the computer.  It didn't take too long when Mom arrived last week and she could hold Kade without him fussing, so maybe the Skype thing works.  I have so many pictures to share from the visit....But here is one.  I love the big smile on Kade's face.  On humid days it gets hot in our house too, so Kade lives in a diaper and we sometimes go outside and spray ourselves with the hose.

 So I have great pictures from swimming, swinging at the park, sitting, standing, and others.  I need to get busy and post them on here before he ages even more.  At 7 months Kade is ALMOST walking.  He hsn't done it yet, but is so close.  He walks with no problems when he supports himself with something, like holding onto his walker (I have video) and can pull himself up on just about anything (crib, bookcase, chair, tables, you name it...he is constantly standing).  It has all begun!  Shane and I are in BIG trouble!!!
