| This is what Santa brought Kade this year....a wagon! |
This Christmas Shane had to work, so he was quite tired. But he did help Santa build the wagon Christmas Eve before he went to work then got home from work at 9:00 AM Christmas morning. Right away we let Kade dig into his stocking. His favorite stocking item...GUMBY. Then we continued on with presents. Opening presents is such a long process with a little one. He will tear a piece off, hand it to me, tear another piece, hand it over, and on and on. If it was a gift he really liked, it was hard to get him to pay attention to go on to the next one. But we made it through.
His favorites were the tool puzzle, dump truck, and a red ball. He got some amazing books for his collection too!!! Then it was nap time! The little stinker cried for a bit, then jabbered, then finally SLEEP! After nap time Kade woke up and talked to his Mee-Maw on Skype (and Bear-Paw too). He was wearing a sweater, but it got so warm in the house from cooking the turkey that I had to change him into a cooler shirt. Kade decided he wanted to explore outside....and he was barefoot. Usually he's wearing his slippers. Boys!!!
After Nap #2 it was time to Skype with Grandma Berge. He also got to say hi to his Grandpa Berge, Great Grandpa, Great Aunt Doreen, and Great Uncle Pat (Semper Fi).
I have more to share, but this is already getting to be lengthy, so will close with a few good night photos taken right before he went to bed tonight.
