Swamp Cooler

Living in the desert means you need some way to keep you cool.  As there is virtually no humidity up here, most houses are equipped with swamp coolers.  Our house keeps cool with a swamp cooler, but we are looking to hopefully replace it with central air conditioning one day soon.  However, it costs about $5-7,000 to install central air with vents.  So, it will be one of our projects we would like to pursue down the road.  While outside, I caught a picture of our neighbor repairing his swamp cooler.  Shane typically goes on the roof a few times in the summer to keep the cooler maintained or fix problems.  It is HOT up there!!!
