If it wasn't for the Marines here, I would go absolutely crazy!!! There's not a whole of entertainment choices here in Gaborone. Each Marine has his own distinct personality and humor...and they are lots of fun to hang out with. . We were driving in the Marine vehicle, which for some reason always has this helmet in it. Occasionally the guys take turns being complete dorks and wearing this helmet. On this day I told Rick he needed the helmet...he agreed, putting it on and strapped his head in. He actually wore the helmet into work as we dropped him off for duty. The guards were STARING at him as he walked in through the gate...Hilarious!!! We were going to get a picture of him licking the window with the helmet on, but were in too much of a hurry for me to get out and take the picture and the window was way too dirty for him to lick it from the outside...so the picture opportunity awaits for another day!
