These are photos of our backyard. Our gardener, Thapello does an excellent job of making our yard look nice and keeping up the maintenance of our swimming pool. We have LOTS of birds in our trees and you can hear them chirping away in the early evenings. There are also many big, fat pigeons...pigeons seem to be all over the world! I decided one day to go out and take a few shots of our yard...and these are a few of them....
This is a tree in our backyard. Normally, it's not a very pretty tree, but I caught the sun behind it which made it look amazing. There is a termite mound at the base of the tree. A crew of men are coming out sometime soon to remove the mound. There is fear that the termites will come into the home and destroy it.
A leaf of one of our trees. I like the close up of one leaf on it, it gives it a unique perspective.
This is the same tree, just at a different angle and distance. It is not at it's most beautiful stage right now, but still an interesting tree.
This is the wall separating us from the Marine House. We use this connecting door frequently. If you look closely you can see the barbed wire, electric fence, and shards of glass cemented on the top of the wall. This deterrence surrounds all of the Marine House. Unlike our house, their house is two stories high.
