Kade's Barber Shop Experience

While I went to LA with Kallista, Shane and Kade spent the day together.

Shane took Kade for his first haircut in a barber shop.  Kade's VERY first haircut was done by my hairstylist, Christine, at 10 months old and was just a trim with scissors.  Since then Shane has been giving Kade his haircuts at home with clippers.  Kade does pretty good for Shane, but near the end he gets squirmy and is done with it.  We thought it might be a better experience at the barber shop and maybe a low fade could be achieved.  Shane got his haircut done first to show Kade what it was like in the barber's chair.  Shane went to Barber Judi, a Vietnamese lady that has been cutting Shane's hair for years.  Kade sat quietly while Shane got his haircut...then it was Kade's turn and he did amazing!  Although I wasn't there, Shane videotaped the whole experience on his cell phone so I got to see it...It was a pretty good job. He got a low fade done.  My only complaint was the front part looked a little odd, almost like a bowl cut, so we'll see how we can do that part differently for next time.
