On Saturday, Kade and I went to my friend's house for a pool and homemade hearth baked pizza party. Shane had to work (Boo!) Kade adored the pool, the dogs, and the kids. My camera is still in the shop, so these photos were taken with my Olympus point and shoot.
This was the first time he actually got to use his pool float as the pool we normally go to doesn't allow them since it is not Coast Guard approved. Kade loved the freedom of this float and couldn't stop splashing and kicking his legs. He was so excited!!! He also likes to walk in the shallow parts of the pool, sit down and splash. He loves the water just like his Momma and loves to move just like his Daddy.
All the kids there were boys, but of course none as young as Kade. Sweet little Lake, who is 5, was talking and playing with Kade a little bit. Kade LOVED this and tried following Lake everywhere. Kade also tried talking with Lake's twin, Vaughn, when we were sitting out of the pool. Kade stretched out of my arms to touch Vaughn sitting next to me and was jabbering away at him. Vaughn was sweet and was talking back at Kade about how he used to be in his Mommy's tummy too. Kids crack me up!
